I was rummaging around in my garage to search for piston sealing material a few minutes ago and i busted my toe on a plastic valve(I think). Well i picked it up and it had o rings and everything and i thought i hit the jackpot. The problem is that i don't know what it is or what its for. If my cousin didn't break our camera, i could show you, but yet, i can't. I drew up pretty much a to scale drawing of the valve, and all else i can tell you is that it fits 3/8 inch copper pipe. My dad said to hold on to it before i screw it up because it may be important for something. Here is the Pic... any thoughts of what it is?

First thing that came to mind is the thing in a blowgun.
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

Looks like something to a BB or pellet gun. Looks homemade also.P.S.     That sounds just like my dad, the whole, "hold on to it, it might be important" thing.

I dont have any blowguns though, unless its one from a Pressure washer handle, but that thing hadn't been taken apart.

Edit: cant be a bb gun cause i dont have one :( , and it cant be homemade cause I can only wish to have a lathe.

Nope it looks brand new. Its made out of some really hard black plastic though.

Edit: my dad said it could be a sprinkler head valve that blew off when he was trying to fix it. Could have shot in the garage right?
