Paintball Tank!
keep in mind that most players will be on foot, and they do not want people in tanks racing around possibly running someone over. also would sugest a turrent with a cannon, it will come in handy especialy in a tank on tank battle.

That's true, I suppose I wouldn't want a half ton tank hitting me at 30 either. Turrets easy, that's what spudfiles is for right?grumpy wrote:keep in mind that most players will be on foot, and they do not want people in tanks racing around possibly running someone over. also would sugest a turrent with a cannon, it will come in handy especialy in a tank on tank battle.

Well I'm not familiar with extreme scenario woodsball but if tanks are going to be part of it shouldn't there be antitank paint rounds? Perhaps a paint soaked sponge? That way there is not mistaking a hit and it's not practical for anti-personnel; just like the real anti tank weaponry.

Usually it’s a NERF pocket vortex, or a… what are that called, Paintball warhead or somethin’? Basically foam footballs with fins.
I call ‘em FSKE rounds, Fin Stabilized Kinetic Energy, because they can take out a tank with kinetic energy alone (all you have to do is hit them).
I thought about building a tank once, then I saw the speed limit I decided that they were basically large, slow moving, targets… lately I’ve bean pondering turning an Econoline van into a infantry fighting vehicle, the main reason I haven’t done it yet is I can’t afford it!

They're okay.
It's really not terribly hard to make a paintball tank really, it's just gotta have safety in mind, especailly if you want it allowed on a field. With all the restrictions though, and since you can't really drive fast, it's basically how comfortable and reliable your tank can be, and if you can hit them before they can hit you.
