I searched an could find nothing for this, so here it is.
The local CVS has begun stocking small Nerf football knockoffs. These fit great in 2" PVC pipe have a great tight fit in 1.5" PVC pipe.
Ive tested the football at 60 psi in my pneumatic gun and at a distance of 50 feet, leaves a .5" dent in 1" plywood.
The great thing about these are their price, $2 per football, and performance can be altered by removing the tail fin, dropping a few fishing weights into the nose and hot gluing or epoxying the tail assembly back in. At 75 PSI, the football disappears from view and has a hang time of about 20 seconds. I think ive praised it enough, end story is its a great cheap alternative to the mini nerfs and cheap enough to use and lose while still being a great round.
Pretty cheap and good ammo @ CVS
Thanks for the tip. I have a CVS just a couple of minutes down the road...I'll stop in and check it out my next time out.

nope not yet, but im checking it out now, thanks.About hang time, have you seen this ?
And just to clarify, when im talking about hang time, im shooting the thing straight up in the air. Thats probably a given to most people but looking back, it was probably an important bit of info
I was under the impression that you fired straight up. Read on into the thread and BLB speaks of calculating hang time at angles.
