need advice!!!!

im going to build a spud cannon,(this will be my first) but i am good with pvc ect. i want to build a beginer one but i downt want it to suck.i want to use a supara valve sch 80 pipe and im going to get rifled pvc. i want to get more than one shoot per charge (dri ice maby?) i want it to load from the back (where the one pipe inside the other slides forward to load the back to fire) if u have advice/ plans or any helpfull hint that would be great....thanks

so im presuming your building a pneaumatic and you want to use on of joels supah valves and some rifled pvc barrel if using a supah use like one or two 4" chambers idn im not exactly sure on what all your doin

Look up breech loaders, you know where you slide the one thingy forward to load it from the back.

now about getting more than on shot per charge,have your large chamber,a valve,then a smaller chamber with the supah on it .you charge up the large chamber,then open the valve between chambers,let the small chamber compress,then close the valve between the chambers then you activate the supah , it fires,it closes,you open the valve between the chambers,and do the whole process over again.

Ah youre going to be spending a lot of money. i would say start smaller so you can understand better how they work before you lay down $200 or more

If you want 2 shots just have 2 chambers with a baal valve between the chamber and the valve. Just open the ball valve to whichever chamber you want to fire off.

thanks for the help i went to the hardware store and bougt stuf. 3 inch sch 40 for chamber and 1.5 sch 40 for baral and a ball vale, i think its a good idea to start small, any othe help stuff would be great! and i also agree all new tayotas suck and ford is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

i just finished my cannon (yah!) it prity good but i havent used it yet (have to wait a day or so for the pvc cement to dri. ill post pictures soon if i can figur out how to do it.
