i simply want to know how much a 2 inch pool ball would weigh...i think this would be a very cool ammo...may even shatter...i was jsut wondering if i would be able to shoot those efficiently at around 70-120 psi? how far do you think i could get with those?

um if it were 2 inches it wouldnt be a pool ball...pool balls are 2.25" and about 10oz... if you want two inch ammo, try 2" fish bobbers from walmart, they can be filled with anything, and they shoot very efficiently... with a layer of electrical tape...

found this:
English Pool Tables are supplied in 3 sizes, 6ft, 7ft and 8ft measured externally. For the best size to suit your pool room, click here to consult our handy snooker tables size and room measurement chart. English Pool Tables use 2” balls, usually 7 red and 7 yellow balls with black 8-ball and 1 7/8 “ white cue ball for coin-operated pool tables. The popular game played is English 8-Ball - click here for our rules pages.

Snooker balls are standardized at 52.5 mm (approximately 21⁄8 in.) in diameter within a tolerance of plus or minus 0.05 mm (0.002 in.) No standard weight is defined, but all balls in the set must be the same weight within a tolerance of 3 g.[4] However, many sets are actually 21⁄16 in. (about 52.4 mm), even from major manufacturers. Snooker sets are also available with considerably smaller-than-regulation balls (and even with ten instead of fifteen reds) for play on smaller tables (down to half-size), and are sanctioned for use in some amateur leagues.

Man that made me do some really extensive searching for a few hours...
Not...
And I found THIS:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billiard_ball
the weight may be from 5.5 to 6 oz. (156 to 170 g) with a diameter of 2.25 in. (5.715 cm), plus or minus 0.005 in. (0.127 mm).

A pool ball is a ball within those specifications.
That means 2,25 inch plus or minus 0.005"
That means that 2" pool balls dont exist.

Dont blame me if you claim to have found 2" balls wich are used on a pool table. They still are not real pool balls. But you can use them for ammo ofcourse :D.

5.5oz is a good weight for some good impact.
