will this work?

maybe later i will try also to make 1 with the designs of a stengun.

the mag will be hold in place by the cocking leaver. it will also be pushed very hard to the barel so only a few power will escape.

if you guys could explain a other ignitor i will try that, buth it may nog be expensive and easy to make.
a battery ignitor doesn't work when i tryed to build it (i gues the problem was me).

any more idee's will help

That's a one shot gun.It shouldn't look like a machine gun.It will be pathetic.May be a good idea for a strafer.

ehm,,, its a combustion.

i know its a 1 shot gun (it will be to hard to make it semi ore full)

how would you wana make it to be a strafer? the looks must be 90% the same as a normal thompson, so you cant add a airtank ore hopper. thats why i made a 1 shot.

grts/

btw the marble will not be loaded through the barel buth by the mag. that's becaus maybe i will try to make something that it will stay on even when you hold it upside down. so you could carry extra mags. i hope the sten version will also work if i finished this 1. when i have got more money i will start, buth i don't know when. also the problem will be if the local shop has got the right tubes i need.(hope so) i gues they only have got alluminium buth that blinks to mutch:D.
also the wood will be a problem. becaus i dont know what type of wood they used, and if my local shop has the same kind of wood.
is there also a way so it wouldn't rust exept painting it?

and if anyone has got more large picturens (more than 400pix long) could you send them to me? plz with a white background. buth a collor is ok.
also if there is someone whit a real m1 thompson could you send me the size of the with of the gun, and other parts?

You can make an enfiled style one shot gun.A baisic auto combustion that looks like a tomy gun will be very cool and will you'll need to replace the magazine very often wich is also a cool part.

I dont understand where the chamber will go? With the stock you could glue two pieces of 1/2in plywood together and outline the shape of a thompson, cut out and stain it so it looks the same color. The rust from the barrel shouldnt be a problem if you use a fuel like propane that wont have any liquids in it. or you could get stuff called barrel blue from your local gun store and put that on the barrel that is touching the wood.

ehmm.... in holland we don't have a gun store near our home (we even dont have 1 i gues in the whole country).

the chamer is the mag.

i want to make it with the same wood as the real gun uses, so the weight will almost the same.

ok i'v got it, its walnut wood:S hope to find it.

man, i wouldnt dare take a tommy gun apart to make it into a marble shooter, i hope thats not what you are planning to do

however i like the idea, it would be cool to have a replica M1 Thompson that shot marbles even if it wasn't full auto

i saw this one dude's spud gun that was like a perfect replica of a rocket launcher somewhere, i think they used it for paintball, i lost the link though
