Ok im at the end of my construction of my pneumatic cannon. I have all the parts. Except the 3" chamber. I went to lowes to buy some all they have in 3' is cell core which i dont want be cause its not pressure rated. Then today i went to a local construcion supplier all they had was cell core also. I have pressure rated 3" on my combustion but i "borrowed" it from a construction site. So is there any where you know that carries 3' sch 40 pvc thats pressure rated.

I have the same problem mike. None of the big stores like lowes or home depot carry any pressure rated pipe above 2" at least in my area. The best place I have found is a pipe specialty store where all they sell is pipe and sprinker stuff. Also if there are no stores like that around you can order it from mcmaster but I usually leave that to a last resort because I hate to pay for shipping.

Yeah same with me sergeantspud. I can't find PVC bigger than 2". If I find a plumbing supply store with big sizes, I want to make a HUGE coaxial tennis ball cannon or a ping pong ball strafer.

Do you guys have MENARD'S stores in your area? They have sch 40 and 80 pipes that take up one side of the store.

and they have tons of fittings and a wide selection of pipe cement and primer.

I think the menard's chain is just in the midwestern U.S.

I have 6 feet of 3" pressure rated pvc lying around outside
