ive been searchin the web and i cant find 4 in cam locks. not at mcmaster not at sprinkler.com. i cant find it.

thnx for any info you give. i need them for my next piston at4 bazooka thing.

Catalog pages 282 to 289 on McMaster. Looks like you would need to go with metal cam-locks for a pressure rating over 50 psi. A couple part numbers that might work for you -
2005T18 (Aluminum w/SS levers)
2084T18 (Anodized Al w/SS levers)
2005T98 (Aluminum w/SS locking levers)

Have you considered 3" cam locks...much more available...and would provide huge flow, even for a 4" barrel.

yah but its not for my barrel. I'm making a coaxial and its so I can make the piston and barrel can be accessed from the back. And a 4" piston won't fit through a 3" cam lock

Uumm, I'm no piston genius or anything, but a 4" piston probably wouldn't fit through a 4" cam lock either. Was your plan to just use a plug in the camlock? Sort of a Mercedes Benz access port isn't it?..

If you are just using a plug for access, make sure it's pressure rated. I've seen some that aren't. And looking at the dimensions that McMaster gives, it looks like a 4" piston actually would fit through a 4" cam... the diagrams aren't very clear but it looks like the ID of a 4" cam is about 4.75" Kind of hard to tell though.

They choke down to the advertised size after the seal, so 4" will be the limiting size. You could plan a 3.75" sized piston or so if you are bent on using the cam lock as an access.
