But how would you get access to radioactive material? :P
There's a lot of it around, if one has a bit of money and knows where to look.

one more problem with the ball that glows:
it may break the glowing thing in there on landing and launch so i wont be able to find it in the dark.

Its designed to take the force of a club smacking it pretty damn hard, I think that it might manage

Landing... no. It'll return to the ground by force of gravity only, and because of it's drag, GB's don't have a very high terminal velocity.

Launch, that depends, however, things will survive a more violent acceleration from an air cannon than they would from a golf club, because the force from a spudgun is spread equally across the surface of the projectile, which prevents the same stresses as a golf club.

I think it'll survive.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

You could always fire off more then 20 shots in a row, and then search. You will most likely find at least one.

Your answer lies here A little glue on a golf ball plus some of that, and you'll find it for sure, unlike glow stick stuff this doesn't lose its luminosity, even on a cloudy day it will show up... just my 8g of copper

I agree with sandman, if you could wrap it in some absorbant tape and pour a glowstick on it at night, that might work.
