will a peak pressure measuring set up for a regular propane cannon work. I know how it works on a hybrid but will it work the same way on a regular cannon, does it need a burst disk to hold in the pressure to messure it.

If you want to find the peak pressure, put a check valve between the chamber and the gauge.

Also make sure that you put some sort of valve after the check to vent the pressure so you can reset your gauge.

That won't work, though, because once the air has cooled the pressure will get back to normal.

There is an easyer way then getting a check valve and an expensive pressure guage, just go and buy a compression tester for an engine and they have a built in check valve and release aswell and they are only like $20.

It will work! The temperature doesn't matter. Even if the pressure did drop with the temperature it would still give you time to read the gauge.
