This is an easy way of making o-ring grooves with few tools.
The tools you will need are: hack saw and pliers.
What you need: PVC and o-ring about the same size as the PVC.

NOTE:I am not using glue in the following steps,YOU MUST USE GLUE.

Slip your o-ring over the sleaved piece and glue the other part of your selected piece over the sleaved piece, the o-ring should sit comfortably

Sleave the new piece into the other piece(you would use glue here)and make sure you have done it correct.Make sure there is enough for the o-ring and the other piece of pvc.

Take the smaller piece of pvc (which is going to be the piece that you sleave inside the other pieces) and cut a portion out of it, smaller pvc needs large (about 1/4 to 1/3) cut out where larger pieces need small portions cut out.

Cut the pvc where you want the o-ring groove. Get a small piece of the same size pvc as the peice you started with.

Good Idea! Sounds easy to do. For smaller pipe you can take a pipe-cutter and cut a gash into it but not all the way through.

Doesn't anyone have a stove? lol

I just mark the PVC where I want the grooves at and then boil it and cut down the place where the marker is...

Nice guide though, It helds aldo because if your making a piston you can set the washers on the smaller inside peice of PVC...
