I am designing a new hybrid and I want to keep it really clean and as light as possible, so I will be using separate meter pipes and won't have a propane tank mounted on the gun. So, my question is...is a single shrader valve all I need in addition to the chamber gage? I figure I could connect a shrader fitting to a propane tank and just use a small hand pump, and use the single shrader valve for both the air and propane.
You could but I would use a quick disconnect with a ball valve. They can take more of a beating.

I have used schraders on Hybrids up to 9x . They do break off easily if bumped though.
