sounds fun to me!
i am currently working on upgrades for my littte jet, a new smaller nozzle, and upping the fan flow by upping the voltage.
any suggestions?

I've decided i want to build a pulse jet but i am in need of some plans and a place to get stainless steel tubing. any ideas?

Bobalu, if you're 15, you should have some sort of income. Why would you even ask your parents to buy propane for you when you could buy 400g for yourself for less than half an hour's wages?

argh! i feel out of my league here.
i dont know how to work metal very easily and have no idea how to make pipe the exact dimesions they have there

im working on building a turbojet based on an old turbocharger but i still cant find anybody who will let me use their welding equipment

here in the uk you can pick up a cheep stick welder for about 40 quid new
if you dont need alot of welding you could use car battery's
produced a nice weld i used 3 battery's to make 36volts and used a bit of coat hanger wire as a resistor to limit the amps bit getto but it worked
be realy carfull if you try it battery's produce hydrogen

well the problem isnt getting a welder, its convinceing my mom that I wont blow up/ incinerate the house with it. but maybe i could build that microwave welder and my dad and I could disguise it from her....

surleay a store bought welder is safer than a home made one how do you control the amps on the microwave one ?
reading this makes me wish i dident sell my holset hx 50 turbo

you do have a good point, I think Ill just stick with trying to find some one who can either weld the major parts together, or just seeing if one of my dads friends will let me use his metal shop
