No, not 150 psi, thats for PVC fittings, people have used brass, copper and steel fittings at 500+ PSI.

he mean't for the sprinkler do you think it would hold at 500 blind? lol. EDIT: betaen. I thi9nk it would hold at 200 but I wouldn't recommend any higher than 150. The sprinkler could probably hold 200 nfor a few shots but would fail not long after so stay at 150 and below.
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

There are brass sprinkler valves though.
...for the right pricepsycix wrote:There are brass sprinkler valves though.

Depends.
If you want to buy them from a company, yes it will be expensive.
But when there are used parts for sale you can get very low prices.
Some people just have the luck of encountering a stuff like a 1" QEV or 2"sprinkler for 10 bucks or finding other amazing stuff in a trash dumpster.
You just gotta be lucky. I would never use a sprinkler valve unless I got it for free.

yer i did mean the valve, just to clarify im not a total idiot.

Yet still, the max pressure possible is determined by the lowest component, so 150 psi max pressure it is.
So why use heavy copper if you cant use it at its full capacity?

You should be able to have one shipped to your house from an online store...

Piston valve.
And +1 on the online store. Where do you live?
If you live in the US you should have no problem finding a QEV online.
