This idea hit me while driving back to work after lunch at Taco Bell a few weeks ago....

I actually want to improve on this concept but I thought this actual construct may be a useful add-on for anyone interested so I decided to show it.
Installing a burst disk, at least the masking tape ones that I use, on a male camlock that's mounted at the end of a golf ball barrel is a real pain. This concept allows you to pre-build burst disk "coupler/cartridges" without wrestling with the whole barrel. Just install a female camlock on the barrel and you are on your way.
It uses 2 - 2" male camlock adapters, one with female threads and one with male threads. Just screw them tightly together and your ready to install a burst disk and fire away. The golf ball just pops in the top "barrel side". The masking tape adhesive will hold the ball in place just enough.
Everything else is pretty self explanatory.

And we can't forget the gratuitous ~700 fps golf ball firing/damage video....now can we...
