Well this is the second stage of my stock work so I figured I'd make a thread...

<img src="http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/5755/stock0oj.png">

I already bought the pipe and fittings and cut them to size, but the PVC glue\primer is at my dad's house so I'll have to wait to tomarrow to make it. :(

Any suggestions before I finish it here please....

Where's a good place to put a schrader?

Put the schrader wherever it is'nt in the way, make sure it's screwed into a fitting (Double-Walled.) Instead of the 45 degree elbow try and find a wye, that should make it stonger. This looks different from most stocks you see.

If this is for that semi-auto you were talking about it looks good. you should try to find a wye though, it would look better too. If your going to actualy use it as a regular chamber there's no room for enough air. A good place for the schrader if this is going to be a semi-auto would be near the valve so it has time to equalize on top of the diaphragm. Also if it's for the semi-auto, show us your loading mechanism.

r u making another pnuematic frogy?

if u want suggestions here's mine:
-if you have an air compressor use a quick disconnect controlled by a 1/4" ball valve (easier to fill than schrader).
- if i were to make a stock, i'd just have it be solid pipe with a T on the end covered with endcaps covering the two open sides on the T.
this would be less likely to break if it were dropped, bumped, etc. but im guessing u don't want to change the design now.

I really want to get a Wye, but when I was at Home-Depot I forgot to look for one :(... Since the fittings were only about $3 I'm just going to make this one for now, my sisters graduation party is on July 1st and I need something to show off

I'm taking a picture of my stock right now... it's not glued, but it will be later...

Note: it looks pretty stupid right now because I'm only dry fitting them and it won't look right until it's fully glued and the fittings are the right distances apart...

The 90's will be touching and the end cap will be level with the top of the pipe going into the gun, I need to sand down the pipe between the two 45's

There's PVC shavings all over my room :D

wow nice, if you do get the hopper on there well, hook it up to a compressor and have a semi-auto :D

If you want a "cleaner" look simply buy some 1" couplers, and bore the stops out of them, then sleave them over the "long" pipes that extend between fittings. Of course you have to measure though. Simply get the socket depth of the two outer fittings, and then the length of the bored couplers. Then once you get that measurement cut a 1/16th shorter just to cover possible measuring error to the slightest.

Nice hopper. The stock looks pretty good with the full gun, but you have to show us the loading. If the hopper was just there tons of PBs would come down at once and flood your barrel. Also air is going to go into the hopper and splat all the paint.

Lol, I know what I'm doing with paintball stuff... That's a force feed hopper that keeps tension on the paintballs %100 of the time, That's why it can load 22 balls per second into my gun (35bps if I upgrade it)...

Pimpman I thought about doing the coupler thing even before you told me, but I figured I could just wrap the pipe in some thing like Camo neopreme and\or paint it...

Here's my now Ghetto stock gun:

The stock:

I put the bottom 45 on at about 1/2 degree off, it's not really noticable, but it bothers me for some reason... Me and my damn obsesive compulsive disorder

Well I've been probably having a heart attack since 6 PM EST when I started making this, when I tried to screw in the stock and barrel it felt like I was dying... So If I stop posting here it's probably because I died....

So it holds the balls in place? I might have to get one myself.

They're $100 stock (20 bps) though.... and about $20-85 for a better board (35 bps) I'd recommend a VeiwLoader Egg because they are kind of force feeding... they don't actually need pressure on the balls, but they push them in fast...

A Halo B (my hopper) uses a Drive cone that the balls fall into and it has a belt driven on the cone that tensions the cone's spring as soon as a paintball is fired another one is shoved in via spring tension and then the spring is re-tensioned by the motor....

I have a Ricochet Apache that I got on sale for $40 and that feeds 20 bps although my gun can't shoot that fast. It can't anymore though cuz it got wet. :(
