after recently constructing my pen gun i realized there is only one flaw............. the only ammo that is reliable enough is pencil tips! so if any of you (preferably the ones that have built pen guns) know what i could use it would be much appreciated.

If you are having trouble getting enough pencil tips burn the pencils. The pencil ''leads'' are graphite that won't melt with a torch so just remove the wood part and cut up the graphite part with a mini exacto saw.
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

Cut open a shotgun shell. See if the shot (small bb's) fits. I am not sure what size your barrel is, but it fits in my pengun.

If you can fit a pencil tip in it, #7 1/2 shot is probably gonna be close. If that's too big, then you're pretty much screwed for using shotgun pellets.

#7 1/2 is not the smallest shot size. I've loaded many a 12ga shell with #9.

Google will provide. :)

About half way down. Match your bore to a shot size, and you'll know what you need.
