I just got back from the local flea market. there was a guy there selling all sorts of scientific pnumatic parts. I scored 3 2.5 inch Glyceriene filled ashcroft guages. theguages are calabrated to 0.1% accuracy. I got two 0-100 Psi ones and one 0-160 psi one. they were only $2 a piece( the are normally $250 new)
I also got ten bloguns like the ones joel uses on the modified sprinkler valves for $1
On top of that i got 2 60000 PSI 3 way valves for $2
This guy has no clue what he is selling
Ill post pics later my camera is giving me a hard time

maybe he took out little springs and crap out of the stuff he was selling for his own little projects
no, not likely, but what r u gonna use the 3 way valves for? imagine the possiblities for cool parts like that.

All the flea markets here suck wang. Just some mexicans selling rugs and sh*t. Those are some good deals you got. I got 7 3ways off of ebay and they were also 2$. They were made of some fairly hard plastic, what are yours made out of?
Huse_Spud, 3-ways can be used for propane metering which is nice since it only requires you to move one lever instead of the normal two.

So you got Grade 4A 2.5" gauges for $2 a peice? I hate you
The flea market I normally go to sucks ass all of a sudden, they used to have gauges and blowguns for like $2 each, but I guess the guy stopped coming...
I have to go to this giant one like 2 hours away now to get good stuff, but they sell schraders for like $1, gauges for $1.5, and blowguns for like $1...

Is it possible that the guy stole the stuff and did'nt know how much it was worth?

the guys dad died and he was selling his tools. guess he still didnt know how much it was worth. he just wanted to get rid of the stuff. i think his dad that died took them from his work a long time ago though. they might be stolen like two generations ago.
