Does anyone have any experience with airguns and their internals? I think this is how the valve works roughly it is just a quick paint drawing and finished in Xara. I really want a hammer design like on a pistol but so far have only designed a rifle hammer. The pistol hammer would be easier as it could just use a metal cap gun hammer with a stronger torsion spring in it. With these designs it would be possible for a full auto, I only want a small multiple shot dried pea gun.

Yeah, the top one (AV) would be possible to make but may not get many shots and also be hard to make small. Does any one know what pressure CO2 canisters are like 12g or 8g? I think they are like at 800psi but i dont really know. I might try to make some kind of hammer valve like this but its going to be hard.

Really like the idea! And it would indeed be perfect for dried peas and other small projectiles. I will work like a PCP air rifle..
I think it would be hard to obtain full auto though, if the chamber pressure doesn't drop very fast and consistent it will just stop moving.

Yeah it might work for like a amll 2-3 second burst and then die of lack of pressure

I think you might be able to make something like this with a brass one way valve
