the fake mag thing was just for looks but it is a great grip when I stand up and shoot. I did not block the stocklctchamp wrote:Nice gun. The paint looks good. In front of the blowgun is that a fake magazine/clip or a handle? It's nice to see another person who takes time and pays attention to minor details. Did you block of the stock? I usually like to tell everyone what they did wrong, but I can't seem to find anything wrong with this one. If I was grading this gun I would give it a 10.
Edit: The damage is pretty impressive. How long is your barrel?

In listening to it, it seems to honk a little. I would recommend a blowgun mod to improve the valve speed and maybe moving the trigger up to the "magazine" to shorten the length of the pilot hose.lctchamp wrote:Nice gun. The paint looks good. Yeah, I had trouble with the bi-pod. I used epoxy at first but it broke off and I gave up on epoxy so I used some zip ties and they work great. I am only going up to about 125 psi for right now.maverik94 wrote:Beautiful gun, It looks nice, and It looks like it shoots nice, I especially like the bi-pod. I need to make one of those for my gun too. What kind of pressure are you using in that thing?
My first cannon I made was out of copper. I like copper a lot better just because I like using a torch, and I plan on being a pipe fitter when I graduate. But for this one I did not have much money so I just did pvc. my next cannon I am thinking about is a copper co-axle with a wooden stock but that will be far in the future.POLAND_SPUD wrote:that's a very nice gun... I am not a fan of PVC but this one is really good...
the scope fits it well.... I fell I need to buy one as well
did you consider switching to metal ?? come one.... join the chosen ones
I will have to try them out.POLAND_SPUD wrote:well copper is better than PVC but still I preffer malleable iron fittings... using them is cheaper in the long run.... you know you can reuse every part, mod the gun in several seconds or replace the main valve etc.
I know I say it all the time but malleable threaded fittings are the way to go
I had no idea when I was making it, but now I think maybe like an 1" of epoxy in side the pvc where the stock meets the tee's to the sprinkler valve. You know what I mean? But it would be hard.boom_o_matic_2.0 wrote:I wanted to make a gun like that but I have no idea how to block the stock.... Any ideas???
