Point taken. This whole thing reminds me of "gun-free zones."

"Nevermind that the only people who will pay attention to it are the ones I don't need to worry about in the first place; it makes me feel better."

All that's going to be accomplished by banning paintball is the removal of a popular hobby for the younger crowd. What good is that going to do? All it's going to encourage them to do is play more videogames - which everyone knows also cause violent tendencies - or play sports which instill an unhealthy competitive spirit.
