well i wasnt sure if i should have put this here or in ammo, but i decided to put it here because i haven't tried it... i remeber playing splinter cell (you know that computer game) and saw something called a "sticky shocker" at first i thought this would never work, but a few years later i started playing with camera flashes to charge my coil guns. it took me a while because i hadn't played the game for a while then one day i saw a comercial for it and i remember the sticky shockers. then it hit me use the high voltage capacitor from a camera flash and shoot it out of a pneumatic cannon. take a capacitor encase it in some sort of hard shell and replace the terminals with small pins. sure the force of the blast might nock the person down if they were close (not that im suggesting you should go shot people) but far away it would work good. here i made a picture its very simple

Thats actually kinda kool but since u wouldnt want to shoot people with anything coming out of a potato gun i think it might be cooler if u put a full 12 gram co2 enclosed in something with somthin right against that little hole on the co2 so when it hits a tree the nail or whatever will punture the co2 and it will be cool. just an idea ill try it out one day let u guys know how it worked

I'm sorry, but I just have to say...
A "tazer round" for a spudgun has absolutely no purpose. You shouldn't even be considering shooting home-made cannons at people (with the exception of water balloons from long ranges
), let alone trying to electrocute them.
But this wouldn't work anyway.
First of all, it wouldn't fly straight (without tumbling) and the odds of both electrodes contacting the target is minimal.
Second, even if both electrodes did contact, they wouldn't "stick" long enough to really hurt, just zap the "target".
Third, even if it worked, YOU'D GET SUED OR ARRESTED.
I don't mean to rant or insult you, but I think this kind of thing is really immature. Spudguns and air cannons are still legal in the USA, but if people start doing really stupid crap with them, the laws will change. When people start getting injured or using them as weapons, they'll be legislated into oblivion. So please, in the interest of not getting all our cannons confiscated, don't do stuff like this, or suggest it to other people.
Mods, I'm sorry for flaming, but you have to agree with me to some extent.
Peace,
Pete Zaria.

Life is not a video game. You cannot get away with sh00ting people with spudguns. Legally, when you fire anything that is not a potato out of that barrel it is considered a weapon (USA) anyways, when you shoot it at people it is a weapon (Pretty much everywhere). And just like pete said, if people do do stupid stuff with potato guns, the laws will change.
Personally, judging by the Nat'l Guard's forcefully disarming the whole Louisiana area; And the whole U.N. wanting to disarm the world. I am surprised that the Gov't has not shut down this website, teaching teenagers to build potentially lethal 'weapons' in thier backyard.
It is coming to an age when we will not have rights anymore, this is evidenced by the Patriot act. Giving police the authority to enter your home without any reason but 'suspicion' of being a t3rrorist, that means your spudguns. So protect your rights and don't do dumb stuff.

This whole topic is a bad idea in case none of you have read the rules I will post them here for you:
Discussion of shooting anything at any person and/or animal is prohibited, and may result in a permanent banning of your account.
The exception to this rule is for proper use of legal airsoft and/or paintball markers.
