And to think it's not even done..
I've used the sawdust from the hardwood to make a filler in the same colour, essentially still hardwood.
Just mixed it with wood glue ( waterbased) and voila.A brownish pudding wich can be molded.
Easier than the jigsaw idea.
It's drying right now..

A usefull idea for spudding applications if it works..

I'll post another picture after sanding...
The handle now encases the ballvalve and extends to the QEV..

Well...it's still drying and needs to be sanded to a smooth finish, but here's a peek:

I did that on " B2TB"

Breakbarrel is far more suited for a regular QEV than one modified to a chambersealer..

I'd like to build that again, but only if I can improve the strenght of the structure, and the seal.

Breakbarrel is my favorite, next come lever action and 3rd place is reserved for pump action.
After these come semi automatic and full automatic..

Rolling block would be nice, so would bolt-action with a ball reservoir.
For pistols I kinda like revolvers, but mostly the really classic ones.

But the Sawed-off III will for now just have a treaded breechplug, while I still choose to muzzle load it, cause it's easier.


If I could have gotten this valve to accept chamberside filling, another type of breechloading would have been a plus.It's a single shot so...

Picture update!!
Sanded the sawdustputty ( rockhard!!)

Some brass chips ended up in the mix, giving it some unexpected twinkle..

I'm not to worried about the difference in colour..

The backpiece now fills in nicely..
Sleeved the barrel with brass too..

I think I'm gonna change the fronthandle for something that covers the entire chamber and flow it over to the QEV, like I did the back handle..

Well...my fridgy just died on me....
It consits of two fridge compressores, one seems to still run...but the combination can put out 10 bar max, wich drops when I put it off...

My guess is one blew and is leaking somehow..I'll have to take off the broken one and see if that's all that's forked...


Maybe I could use the broken one to build something manual...

Do they run in series with one feeding into the other? If so, the crankcase is probably only intended for low pressure and you may have damaged one of the cases.

Good luck getting it sorted. Will there be a brace between the barrel and grip/chamber?

Thanks, I fixed the fridgy problem, just kept the good one...


It's finished...I've decided against a triggerguard, as it might make it look too clean.
It's supposed to embody " brutal", not a freakin suitcase and a comb-over...

Not sure I can ever top this regarding the satisfaction I get when I hold it.
Just a sucker for sawed-off shotguns really...
The barrel and mag were chopped even further, to the point it felt harmonious to me..
Underneath the barrel band ( ghetto and I like it!) is a brass fitting, 3/4" in -3/4" out, wich tops it off for me, eventhough it's mostly hidden from sight.
It firmly holds the grip...
