Though seriously, very nice work. Do the eyes tend to damage the rubber in any way? I'm thinking of grinding off the two bars on the one I made and welding eyes on there.
So far so good, bands holding up nicely although I haven't shot it much yet. the eyes seem like quite a good solution although I might replace mine with stainless ones so I can grind/polish them to a really smooth finish and not worry about corrosion.
f you are going tactical in a country that allows bracing, why not extend the horizontal to a shoulder rest?
hmm, not sure if this is serious or not, but it's already a bit on the large size for a slingshot

The only further addition I am interested in is some kind of auto ammo dispenser/magazine to speed up shooting. For this to be worthwhile I would also need some way of stopping the band and holding it in a useful place
You could telescope the shoulder rest tubing and it would be light an compact.

I could and I've got an old knackered camera tripod which would be just the thing but for now I'm going to stick to spudguns for my shoulder launched projectiles.

Found some 9.5mm steel BB's today, fired them at the long suffering garage door, went straight through :D. Actually it's a crap door so that's not the most impressive damage but I'm reasonably encouraged and looking forward to seeing what 1/2" lead ball shot will do.
My accuracy is poor and I still haven't managed to ascertain whether the laser is any use yet, it was too bright when I was shooting to see the dot :(

Does anyone in the UK know a good source of lead, new or used?

Hey Spudamine, great job! Well done.

The laser may actually work, but what you have to do is to find good ammo and a fixed anchor point, for example against the corner of your mouth, your earlobe, something like that. A laser attached to a weapon is illegal in Germany, so I am not talking from experiences, though.

I recommend using 15 mm steel balls or 12 mm lead for the double green bands. I can actually draw them out to the full!

I'm working on the anchor point, at the moment I'm going back to my ear, this is about as far as I can go anyway but your draw looks insane 8)
I'm tracknig down some lead moulds for 8g or 12g lead balls, steel balls look fun but I also have a large glass door and an unforgiving wife
