This is going nowhere. It seems that some members do not agree with a mod here...
We are creating a battle we probably don't want to fight.

I'll call in PCGUY.

Edit: PM sent.
Let's just wait and hear what he has to say.

Perhaps having a few more moderators would help. I'm sure there used to be more than there are now, and there are plenty of respected members who, between them, probably read all the posts on here every day.

At the very least, put up an announcement to encourage people to report rule-breaking, and condemn this text-hiding.

Just my two cents:

Why is the Font size box allowing 'Tiny' text? If you really want to get rid of it, change the options. Don't give us the tools to be annoying.

The tiny option is set at size 7 and is still somewhat legible, but you can manually enter a smaller number into the code to make tiny even smaller.

When browsing the forum as a moderator we try and read everything. So in all likely hood several moderators are checking the small font each time.

PCGUY does take the liberty of customizing a lot of the php, but this was only a issue until recently. Perhaps if we were not routinely checking tiny text, we wouldn't care? Of course something of that nature might be done, but asking members to be responsive would save PCGUY the hassle.

I know I'm sounding like an A-hole, but come on in the end you are just wasting our time.

At the end of the day, it's up to you. It may be a minor inconvenience for use, but even just zooming in is irritating. We aren't going to go elsewhere because we can't use small font here.

Hell, you guys waste three pages on the question of font size?
Is this forum going down the gutter? I thought at least some of you would be mature. This is the most pointless discussion ever.

Mods, lets learn from this, next time when there are matters like this go strait to PCGUY, or the other mods, discussing it openly can't go right.

Everyone else, get a grip on your selves, most of you are well above an age at which you should be doing this kind of crap, and the few aren't should be all the more cautious and be mature. Grow up, please.

I hope you guys realize how disrespectful you all are.

PCGUY spends time and money on this forum and you clog it and waste his time with this shit.

Some members are interested in spudguns, and need all of you to give opinions, and facts to them, and you waste their time, and deprive them of knowledge.

Last but not least you are making fools of your selves and the entire forum, of do you think if a guest reads this he will not think we are a bunch of idiots?

Personally I don't care, but that's just me. I think the tiny font can be helpful when posting something a little bit off-topic that you don't want to clog up your post. Though naturally, most members will read the small font anyway and not ignore it.

I've all ready sent PCGUY a PM about this ohhhh when the 1st page got going approximately. I've all ready gave good explanation on why the small font shouldn't be. Maybe some of you will take Pimpmann22's word for it, IDK.

John just hit some of it on the nose, that's for sure. I'll say it one more time...If some of the member's didn't try and sneak in violations of discussion rules we could trust enough not to worry about it. But some of you try and sneak it in there making us mods have to read it all. Ruining it for the rest.

I tried to be nice in this entire thread and got disrespected for it. Should be no questions on why I'm strict on certain matters, like this one. I'm locking this until PCGUY gets to it.

Surely I offended some with my tiny text comment (deleted it, don't go looking) but if it means anything I said that pre-dentist. Also have to say it was a successful social niche, but procedure/frugality make it frustrating. The prospect that some prominent users were improperly using the sub-set communication, which translated to a scoped blanket approach, best explains particularly my reaction.

Now that I've violated everyone's time/effort logical complex I'll shut up. (syntax? I apologize to the properly educated. Bet you couldn't guess I'm from Utah? sheesh)

I didn't even read it.
