Pipers Precision and the Strafer

Who invented it first? I remember seeing pneumatic guns working on that principle named 'strafers' long before it was on his website. Now he's probably going to use the name so that no one else can sell a similar gun called a strafer. How uncreative, like the 'venom' gun- guess he played RTCW too.

Anyway, who got it first, the community or piper?

The origional post had a good question that's worth asking - and it's not fair that it stays unansweared just because shitstuff acted normal.

PPP DID invent the strafer , and the vortex block, and it's really patented, and he was the FIRST to call it a strafer... give him some mf-ing respect... the world is not filled with crooks...

As for actually staying on topic, im going to have to agree with saladtosser. Also, P3s work is AMAZING. Have you ever seen the videos of them owning a TV with steel bbs? They dont just make strafers that simply spray out of a barrel, their designs are incredible they actually spin like an actual mini gun. Its amazing.

Meh, I really don't like people who commercialize and profit what used to be a hobbyist field, even if it does bring about advances. We end up with secret-squirrel type stuff when it comes to how cool new things work and one or two people who get a ton of attention and money while everyone else is left behind.

This topic needs to be moved to off topic or non spudgun, p3s work is not at all spudgun related, its airsoft related. Also, tostitos if you invented the mother fucking computer, would you tell everyone how it worked and not try to profit off it? Think before you speak.

Anyway, if you want to use the computer analog... (yes, the "pun" was intended)

The computer was hardly invented. As far as hardware goes, multiple hundreds of people over a course of at least 50 years had been figuring out things that advance the field; from the initial development of vacume tubes, their downward trend in size, the development of the transistor, <i>it's</i> miniturization, the development of the integrated circit...

im not very known but ill put in my 2 cent worth, P3 work is incredible he made a freaking minigun and he got all his guns patented so give him some credit. i mean i wouldnt buy one of his guns, actualy i would the minigun would be sweet(if there was a drooling emotion it would be here), but anyway be nice and if you dont like what he does keep it to yourself because i think most people here do like what he does.
