umm ya so i have a leak between a 45 degree 't' and the 1 1/2 in pipe coming out of it. ive epoxyed all around it but the leak seems to be stronger now. how can i fix this?

edit by MrCrowley: Read the rules, do not post topic titles in ALL CAPS. It would also help if you weren't so rude and demand that we fix your leak.

I'm assuming this is with PVC pipe? Epoxy would do the job. Use JB-Weld or such, it will seal the leak. With PVC pipe sometimes you can fix the leak by applying PVC glue around the leak. If that doesn't work, epoxy will.

Try plumbers goop, also make sure you let it dry for the full 72 hours

Whatever it says on the product. JB-Weld will only take 24 hours, same with PVC cement. I'm not sure about plumbers goop.

fill the chamber with cement, that outghtta seal it up pretty good.

I had a leak like that once. out of frustration i put super glue all around the space in between the fittings and it actually fixed it if i remember correctly.

hah. i know the greatest fix. use some fix-a-flat! poor some in there. pressurize it, shake it up, leave it sit pressurized for a night. shoot it the next day. let it have airflow another night and your done! fix-a-flat fixes tons of different kinds of leaks. not just tires. i used tire slime on my potato cannon and it still has a 100% seal. no leaks.

What's the cure time on the epoxy? Hopefully an hour or less, otherwise you shouldn't be testing it after only an hour.

The blowgun shouldn't leak if you put some PTFE tape on it.

How did you go about glueing the parts?
You did use primer I take it?
Given the fittings a twist as you attach them to spread out the glue even better?

An improperly constructed cannon can be very dangerous.
Just asking...
