Im BIG when it comes to safetyand i busted my ass making a sch40+ cannon who's chamber psi rating is 260 (every other part in the cannon is rated over 330) and i buy the cheapest blowgun thinking it would be fine. Well there is a gigantic stiker that says 90 PSI MAX!!!!!!!!!! im pissed should i ignore it i mean whats the worse that can happen if i pump it to 100 psi....a leak or what?

Well, first of all your fine with the blow gun that's rated to 90 psi everyone uses that same kind.

Second don't think your cannon is safe to 260psi. That rating is for non-shock water @ 72F, I wouldn't go over 90-100psi if you're big on safety. PVC isn't really "safe" with air anyway, it says it right on it "not for use with compressed gas".

I know about the rating and i have never gone over 80 with it yet. The rating i posted is just to explain why the blowgun is the only weak link on it.

The blow gun will be fine over 90psi, I have a blow gun with the same warning and I routinely shoot at 120psi. Everyone on this forum uses a blow gun that is only rated to 90psi.

I was just warning you about the dangers of using PVC with compressed air/gas, because of your 260psi rating statement.

your blowgun should be fine if you even bring it up to like 150psi. Its not like it will just fly off the gun. if you are worried about the weakest part ide focus more on the sprinkler valve (120-130 psi max i think) but their nothing their you can do to help that.

Its not like it will just fly off the gun.

I have taken them 90 psi rated blowguns to 250 psi. No problem. they say like 90 psi because they are afraid that somethging will get lodged in the tip, POP! "AHH my finger!"
