Came out perfectly, performed above expectations. I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out.
It was dark by the time I finished it, and I only got one shot and picture in because I was getting cold lol:
Chucked a nerf football a good 350 feet at a really high angle. I cant wait to try a low angle shot. Ill get some more pics and performance info tomorrow.
As soon as it gets a snazzy paintjob it should be field ready

You did an outstanding job on this project. I've built a few of these and I have some tips for upgrades that you could very easily implement if you wish. Let me know and I can give you details through PM as I don't want to stray off topic from this piece of work.

i made something similar before my accident use a coffe filter pour about 200 bb in it then about half a cup of flour it look like a real morter and it opens in midair and showers the enemy the flour is for looks so u dont need it
dont play with airsofter with 1000$ gun and play with a 5 dollar pair of glasses

sleeve valves are not the most comfortable 3 way valves that exist... though it probably does it job good enough
personally I would use a longer barrel... just to get greater max range and to suppress the gun
overall nice work

Looks good. What size of QEV is that?

Im kind of confused by the first part, do you mean that the slide valve isnt the most comfortable pilot release? If so, what would you suggest?
As for the size, Its meant to be more of an infantry mortar that can move around the field as needed, not like a 120mm mortar that would be firing from a fixed position most of the time.
And thanks
Its a 3/4th inch QEV by the way.

well a 3 way push button valve would be better (ideally a directly actuated spool valve)
