First thing that popped into my mind was "The PC Guy."

The PC Guy.

you fend it we mend it... (that doesn't really make sense, but its catchy.)

or

You break it we make it.

or

the PC Guy, I'll fix it on the fly.

you need something that rhymes I'm my opinion, and PC Guy is good.
"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote

You say that PCGuy is not professional, but personally, I really like it. While it may be less formal the the others, it also hints at how you won't be impersonal like the big box stores.

also FixIT is quite clever.
Do not look back, and grieve over the past, for it is gone;
Do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come;
Live life in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.

yeah that's exactly what I meant

and it really makes sense because of this:
mainly for home/small business PC repair and networking
Children are the future

unless we stop them now

Kyle's ElectroArchitecture

"We fix the stuff reinstalling Windows won't!"

:D

But seriously, if you're good with computer architecture and hardware (not sure if the term "architecture" is outdated or not, as I am not that great), there's always a niche market.

You could install more RAM for people less tech-savvy complaining about a slow computer, better graphics cards for people to "OMG PLAY CRYSIS ON TEH HIGHEST SETTING!", etc., etc.

Name it Circuit City. No one's gonna sue you for it. :lol:

I'm not a lawyer though, so don't take my word for it.

PCP its top!
as in PCP its top quality...

http://www.a1b2c3.com/drugs/pcp2.htm

probably not good for people like me who see words inside words and patterns extremely well...

my money is still on FixIT

its the most professional sounding, that could be made into a good logo, would be easy to write on checks, and easy to remember, and if you grow.. it has room for growth...

FixIT doesn't seem too bad for me... "The Computer Whisperer" really gets me too!

Some of these names are good if the company ever grew beyond myself, however I never really even considered that. I feel like I would only do it until I could land myself a steady corporate job. "The PCGuy" has an awesome ring to it and I never even considered it for myself before aside from being an online username. I don't think it's too unprofessional, and kind of represents the 1 man operation that I would be.

FYI for those who didn't catch it from jrrdw's post, my first name is Kyle and it can be used in name ideas (it was part of a few I was trying to throw around my head).

Thanks for all of the input so far guys!

I like PCGuy too. Maybe if your company expands, you can call it PCPeople.

Dealing with Windows computers, I usually get a little more aggravated than whispering (screaming at it and kicking the crap out of it comes to mind). It's hard to fix something that is fundamentally flawed (that's why I use Linux :D).
