hey guy's sorry I couldn't post this sooner but I'd like to share some pics of the valve I modified so you guys would have two examples of how you might modify a valve you have into a piston valve.
once again this is what the valve looked like before

- so the piston is just a standard soda bottle cap wrapped in some Teflon tape a rubber washer glued on the top, and filled with hot glue and a small end cap just for filler

- so I unscrewed the top removed the existing screw plunger assembly, tapped the hole for the handle stem to fit 1/4"NPT
