Looking through my small collection of plumbing parts, I found a few parts made of black steel. My questions here are: Is the pressure rating for black steel significantly lower than galvanized? Will black steel NPT attachment parts hold up safely in a 10x piston hybrid?

What is the diameter? I do not feel safe around 2" pipe nipples of galvanized steel at 10x.
I am kind of a paranoid spudgunner though.

There is no difference in the rating of those parts. Atleast it's not in Norway.

10x should be completely fine.

Hehe, I'm looking at 3/4" or less. Thanks very much for the reassurance.
