I found this little pump in my room. I got it for my birthday one year along with a whole set of little building things that went with it. Since i've grown out of toys (except for legos) i wanted to make a pump for some tiny chambered cannon but i have no idea how i should go about hooking it up and how many PSI it will handle. any suggestions help.

I wouldn't trust it beyond 50 psi or so.

I'd be cautious with that one at anything over about 30 PSI ... it looks like it's made of that wonderful "hard" brittle plastic that turns into sharp shards (almost glass-like) when it fails

As far as hooking it up to something, it appears you will be searching for some very small flexible tubing and even smaller clamps. My first thought was EFI rated fuel line (I think it's rated for 100 PSI) but without knowing the diameter of the outlet, I'm not sure it would be small enough to fit ... you may need to talk to a local pet store about the hoses they use on the air pumps for fish tanks ... I think they start at about 1/8" inside diameter ...

It might be a better idea to just build a small pump from pvc, that way you dont have to worry about it exploding and you can go up to 100 psi easy
That is all.

I wish people would stop doing that. We had a student doing temporary work in the lab recently that had a tendency to end sentences like that which drove me up the wall, particularly when I'd already be fuming about something else and she'd go "Pissed off much?"

I'd just test the limits of the thing.
Hook on a small electric motor or at least a geared hand crank though.

Yeah it can get annoying sometimes... It's even worse that he wasted a whole post on it.
