So the problem in my regulator was a little part's threads got stripped. I don't think I can get the replacement part, so do you know of any ways to get stronger threads on a part? It is female threaded by the way. Here's a video:

I don't think it's regular npt thread, and I don't have any taps. Do you think if I put some JB Weld on the inside then thread it back over it would work?

So should I just put a little on the inside and let it dry, or put some vaseline on the male part, JB on the female, thread it on, let it cure, then take it off?

Neither of which will survive long in this application.

Have fun.

It will seldom be adjusted, a few times for testing and after the right pressure is obtained, it will never be adjusted again. Its for an onboard airtank on a BBMG.

The piece is simply the part that loads the spring on the regulator. Hit the hardware store and try to find a bolt that will thread into the sleeve even if you have to tap the hole a size larger. Adjust the pressure and forget it.
