Is my chamber safe

Well I finally decided to get off my butt and finish painting Superna, and the only thing left to do was put the name on. So I covered the white spots with duct tape, cut out letters with a single edged razor blade and then took off the extra, painted over it with black, then took off the tape leaving the white letters. BUT, when I cut it using that really sharp blade, it left scrapes in the pipe, so I am wondering if it is safe to hold pressure now... I hope it is lol because that was an expensive chamber! Thanks, Gun Freak.

Well... That depends on wha you call safe...
On a more exact note, I think it's perfectly safe. IIRC 2" pipe is rated to 240psi... (well that depends on what type of pipe you have) If you only go to 100 or so there's no problem. How deep are the cuts? If they're too deep then it isn't safe but just scratches are fine...

They aren't that deep. My pipe is rated to 280 IIRC. I would just hate to explode such an awsome chamber.

Not that this was bright but i cut a saw groove on a ball valve gun when I was new and went up to 80 PSI with no issues so with a razor cut you will be fine.
That is all.

The artwork on the Mouse Musket was razor cut and spray painted. It was fine. Care was taken to keep the cuts shallow and just through the tape.

Instead of tape, I used a spray on paint mask that dries to a peel-able plastic film. Art was printed on paper and taped into place. An exacto knife was used to cut out the pattern. After a coat of spray paint, the film was peeled off leaving the white areas. The Dragon was stensled the same way. Paint does not creep under the film like it does to tape.
The spray on film is called Sign Mask.

Cool, I was only pressing hard enough to make sure I got a clean cut through the tape so the stensil wouldn't get messed up so I think I'm fine. The letters turned out great, the paint didn't creep under the tape like you speak of.
Here is the name:

And here you can see the scratches a little bit:

Oh and edit, you can see the new rear sight on my M16 BBMG in the background
