Any 12v compressor you get will be pretty much the same thing, loud and cant stand up to continuous duty. They were designed to work a couple times for a few minutes in emergencies when you want to pump up your car tire. But if your set on getting one I would just get the cheapest one available so if it does fail after a couple weeks then you can slap a new one in.
As spudblaster said, you can power most of these with those rc car batteries, so you dont have to worry about replacing them.
edit: Ive used things like
this they last for a reasonable time, they can be had dirt cheap (got mine for 2 bucks) and they can be stripped down to be made even more portable. The main problems are they are pretty noisy and have tendency to fall apart after extended use haha. But because they are so cheap you dont have to worry about trying to fix them.
