Hey you guys I just wipped up this quick dart for my cannons 2" barrel. I call it the jumbo dart :D.
It has 3 1/2" only has 2 in now but are I'm going to add one more to make a triangle of 3. Currently it's secured on by tape. Monday I am going to cut 1" off the block so I can then nail the 3 nails through it then put a screw inbetween the three nails as to secure the 1" block to the other section to make the 2 parts real secure together
Here are some picture of it currently. Also when I get my lathe soon I'm going to make it round so it will will fit perfectly into the 2" barrel.

Thanks :occasion5:

Is that a solid block of wood at the back? you could drill it out which would push its cg forward and help a little

just buy a 2'' wooden dowel and make the dart out of that..... beats buying a lathe.

Or, even better... buy a lathe... AND a wooden dowel.... and make a giant 2'' wooden pellet... THAT would be awesome.

I think It is just a little fat... Look at a proper dart... It's length should be many times its width, and it should have something to stabilize it...

You could try simply getting those three big nails, make fins on the back, and use a wadding in the chamber, even tissue paper would work, fire 3 at a time with tissue paper wadding.

Jhale. :D wooden pellet shall be made when I get it :)

Lozzo so just pretty much a spear? I was thinking of adding peices of rope and to make both sides equal weight. If adding a whole in the center doesn't help
