Due to no high speed ability, I just gabbed my camera with good macro and did a sequence instead of a video. I hope the results are worth it.
The test is to find if a AA battery with a sabot will outperform a AA battery in a 1/2 inch PVC barrel.
The result is in the photos below. I used a lower pressure on the 2 inch cannon to keep the noise down. Even at lower pressure the battery is obliterated.
Edit; After cleaning up, I located the top of the battery. Flat and paper thin.
Flat AA battery. I challenge some1 to replicate this. video*

nice.
So tec.... i just built my first QDV!!! it has a 4in by 5 foot chamber. and a 2in barrel. there is just slightly more surface area on the ports than the surface area of the barrel (about 125%) i fired it at 10 psi, and holy freakin crap. I now understand your tendency to prefer QDVs
Video soon, i hope.

Video, photos, etc. of your 2 inch please. Hope to see it in the showcase soon. Let me know when you try a 100 PSI shot. With my ABS test cannon it took quite a while before I got a 100 PSI shot from it. Most of the time I used it from 50-65 PSI with an occasional 75 PSI shot. This year is the first time I fired it at 100 PSI.
The Marshmallow cannon is fired at 100 PSI all the time. The shirt cannon is used most of the time between 40 and 60 PSI. At 100 PSI, it kicks.
As long as you posted in this thread, be sure to smash a AA battery with it and post the results.
Umm, do you mean Cross Sectional Area instead of Surface Area?
