Hi all

After looking through a few threds about people looking for ways to Remotely fire there cannons I thought that I might show you a nifty little Jaycar kit that I have been building this week.

Through the power of SMS you can control up to 8 outputs and monitor 4 inputs so that would probably be more than you'll need to fire a spud gun or whatever.
No I'm not here to try and sell it to you but it is just another way to fire you unit, it would probably good for people with Hybrid cannons who probably don't want to be neer it when it goes off  .

oh well hope it helps someone out there

Just like what the terroists use...

I don't know but I bet that is as illegal as sh!t. EXACTLY like what terroists use. They just get someone to call there backpack.

why? it's a freaking ciruit, and who can be sure that some electronic engineer isn't a terrorist too? why should the government control the use of devices that have a lot of good applications? they should instead focus on making peoples lifes good so we dont get any terrorists, making money making opportunities for all so we dont get criminals, and controlling known phycopaths. this way we dont get any terrorists, and even if explosives were in peoples hands, nothing bad can happen

this is very legal. How about we just dont say: " Dude we could so totaly use that to blow up our teachers car man". Even if you know what your doing with a hybrid they are still very dangerous and need remote ignition. Just wire that to a stun gun and your done. Great find, i might buy one from that site.

Donating Members

AGAIN!!!, if you think something needs to be 'moderated', PM a mod. When your typical members engage in discussions of poltics, it leads to flares in emotions, and wondering from the issue at hand. Itll be the day when this concept gets into your heads.

So this doesnt require you to mod anything, just plug this component into your phone? If so, I love it! Searching for such a device for my phone, but there navigation is a bit hard to naviagate. Thanks for the link, and in my excitement I wont even attempt at exploiting the possibilties...

Oh wow, again I receive a wave of bitching for one single comment.

I'M JUST SAYING : with what happended in London recently, knowing that the method they were going to use to set off the liquid explosives WAS SMS Remote Ignition, I'm just saying it MIGHT NOT be the time to talk about this method of ignition.

Also knowing that some inspectors are paid just to look on innoncent forums like this one to find stuff.

 - I didnt read the first 3 lines of Pimps post

Hi all
Thanks for you posts
I didn't Realise that this sort of unit was used in such attacks.
It is very legal here in australia and popular mag even showed how to build it.
government control the use of devices that have a lot of good applications? they should instead focus on making peoples lifes good so we dont get any terrorists
Yes Good point saladtossser
Even if you know what your doing with a hybrid they are still very dangerous and need remote ignition.
Yes that is sort of the reason I put it here because I would rather hear about somones gun blowing up than hearing that they got killed standing to close to there cannon. Thanks ProfessorAmadeus

Yup all you need to do is put it together, get a data cable and hook it up (but it only works with some phones) thanks pimpmann22

thanks (forgive the spelling I'm a bit Tired )

No Quite sure what you mean but it runs on 12V.
the only wat to trigger it is by sms
but if you wanted to you could hook up a realy to the vibration motor in an old phone.
