I think I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again; I restore antique machinery as both a hobby and self-employment.

Just got my latest project finished for a local museum. It's an antique Lauson engine off of an orchard sprayer.

I've had it painted for a while. I was just waiting for new rings and valves.

Jeez, there's not much I can add apart from props. Very nicely done.

Nice! Is it just an aesthetic restoration or have you run it? In the latter case, video please :)

Thanks for the positive replies.

I have not run it since I painted it. I put a clear coat on it that is not too tolerant of heat, so I am going to advise the museum that they not run it either.

i have 26 years old puch-vz50 moped engine and it works every time i need to go get some drill bits :D
