I was looking at Kaneda's Strafer design: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/kanedas ... -t148.html

And the plans look great. My only problem is that I don't know how to bore through the 3/4" 45 degree elbows as the plans call for. The 3/4" pipe needs to go straight through the 45 elbow and out the other side while leaving the other socket usable. This is needed to complete the aesthetics/handle of the gun. I would try using a hole saw but I haven't found one the right size yet. Any ideas on what I should do?

Can't find one local and I really don't want to have to order online. I've already spent enough on parts

It'll be pretty tricky to cut that hole with any kind of a bit.

What I would do is take a length of pipe of the same ID and cut it so it matches the 45o angle of the Y. Hold that piece of pipe up against the Y and draw around the edge with a marker. Drill say a 1/4" hole in the middle of the outline then go to town with either a coping saw or Dremel.

Yeah I know it's going to be difficult. That's why I would ideally like to contact the person who originally made the gun but I can't get in touch. The email that is in the pictures doesn't work anymore.

I would saw off the corner that use a file to clean it up and shape, not the prettiest but it should work.
That is all.

This is a pretty decent idea and I may do it. I'll try to find a correctly sized hole saw first though
