Gort's Golf Bag (w/Vids) (Contest)
I had a cool idea a while back to improve my range at the golf course by stashing a launcher in a golf bag. I wanted it easy to use and didn't want the bag to have any obvious modifications.

I wanted this to be electronically controlled with one button so I used one of my 3-way valves to control the flow between filling and piloting the shot. I wanted to use a 3/4" QEV but since the flow through a 3-way solenoid valve is quite small, I needed to use a 1/4" QEV to pilot the 3/4" QEV.
The launcher is filled using onboard CO2 concealed in a side pocket and is transfered to the 3-way through a hose that goes through the wall of the bag.

I don't know what the exact C:B ratio is but I do know that the barrel is as long as I could have it without poking out the top of the bag. the chamber is just over half that volume I believe. I wasn't concerned with power for this, mostly efficiency and practicality. As it is, this can clear a driving range, so there is no reason to expand the chamber.
As much as it was to assemble an entire launcher in a golf bag without tampering with the bag, it was totally worth it. I now get a decent pile of money for making this for a family friend.

Thats way cool. I like how its so portable and how it runs on co2. I think shooting the guy that pichs up the balls is a bad idea but sure as heck would be fun.

i am talking about the camo. that is EXCATLY what it is. camo is to conceil or disguise. its not always the green stuff you see military men wearing. is it not conceiling the cannon from the average eye?
Ahh, yes, I painted the top black to blend in. I didnt think about it before, but I could have used a black button as well. I think red is probably safer though.
Yeah, and no shooting this at anyone. You saw what it did to plywood...

do you keep it pressurized while carrying it?couldnt you accidently bump the button and set it off?and in that video i would make sure those golf clubs are well clear of the barrel because some of them were a bit close
