I have a high pressure oxygen tank which has a burt pressure of about 36000psi(2400 bar) and i was wondering how the hell do i get the valve out?or is it even possible? It has a large square section whihc i ahve tried to undo with a large spanner and it doesnt work is there anything i can try?I will post some pics later to see if any of you might be familular with these and i plab to use this chamber for a hybrid.I would rather trust this chamber then PVC.

If your going to make a all meteal hybrid, then simply sawing off the valve, then welding on a metal union would be alright to do. Just make sure that the tank is de-preashureised before cutting away at it. I' not sugesting your dumb, just that I'd rather you not blow your face off.

Well you go to a hospital and u find one that they are discsrding because they dont use them anymore because of such n such reason and releive them of it and yes its burst pressure is 36000-35000psi.
But i dont have access to a high amp welder and that would be required because the walls are about 20mm thick.
