better than my first, looks good.
you need to better the trigger set up  and may be a stock? it will give some work but it usually betters the look of the gun a lot.

Yeah the trigger was made before we decided to make it handhold. So its little tricky to hold and fire it :)

Not a bad little unit there for a first. I would get rid of the electric firing unit and just add a blowgun. It will make it look niced and it will be alot easier to fire. Welcome to Spudfiles!! :D :D

thats someting I wonder about, why everybody modifies the sprinklervalve with a blowgun instead? The electric that we use opens fast and once we change and relocate the triggerbutton it will be easy to fire to. So whats the point?
Dont take it the wrong way it´s my toughts and I´m just a happy amateur

if a sprinkler valve is modded with a blowgun it opens alot faster, electric is slower

Well, in most cases trading the electric actuation for a pneumatic actuation improves performance by a large margin. The vent diameter of the solenoid is much smaller than that of a blow gun typically.

If you like the electric trigger, stay with it. Unless you want to drill into the brass, don't do the blowgun addition. Can we see a video of it firing? Other than that, nice job! My first was along the same lines, but used a plastic sprinkler valve that was modded.

I wouldn't modify the brass sprinkler valve unless you have a tap and die set because if you try to use the fitting as a tap, it well.... wont work, nice first build.

you shouldnt have to drill or tap anything, the solenoid must have threads, and the port that goes into should be threadded. Check it out. All you should have to do is adda closed nipple to the blowgun and your done.

It was that easy when I modded mine. Its not a regular sprinkler valve, its a solenoid valve, big difference!!!

Lol yeah Matty that won't work.

I recommend not modding it. These metal ones do fine without modification.
Get a nice little push button trigger or something for it though.
Nice first, and welcome!
