As opposed to Melbourne, FLA............

I'm riding 100km tomorrow morning in a charity event to raise money for disadvantaged kids, just me and 18,000 other riders. The full ride is 250km and details are here http://www.bv.com.au/general/great-rides/20005/ but at my fitness level the 100km stage will do just fine.

Anyhow, if your are a Melbourne based Spudfiles member, come out and cheer us all along tomorrow. Given the forecast for 45km winds we will need all the help we can get.

Cheers

Well I'm 100km from Melbourne, if you end up heading towards Bendigo, I'll shout you one.

Best of luck to you and all participants, I'm skint, but I hope you reach and exceed the donation targets.

Made it back, just. 45knot crosswinds all the way down and all the way back, time for some amber dehydration treatment.

So far the ride raised $745,000 for the kiddies.

Interesting day, saw two riders go down with suspected heart attacks and taken away by MICA ambulance and one pretty much FUBAR by a women in a small Mazda who thought he would make a good hood ornament so she rear ended him at 70kmh. Big ouch.

BTW, @CL if you or anyone else in Oz is looking for a cheap shock pump, the online shop I use has these on special, claimed 300psi
