A cheap and easy to make high voltage igniter that i though you guys might be interested in, i have not made it myself mind.

2KV isn't really enough to be usable as an igniter, really need at least 10x that voltage.

It was more of a guide, it could easily be changed to output higher voltages

Not really. The hard part is getting the high voltage transformer then finding a transistor (mosfet ...) that'll take the current. The link is just a basic flyback circuit. It is a non-trivial exercise to convert a couple KV flyback into a tens of KV flyback circuit.
