			That is too frickin easy!
Do you think in the 60's, that cheat sheets were allowed in school?
Hell, we were lucky to be able to use a slide rule!
I know, what's a slide rule? (an Analog Computer

 )

Sounds like my physics class, except my instructor was a joke. I learned plenty about welding and diesel engines. I don't ever recall him mentioning a thing about Newtons Laws.
It's exciting to see this thread come one step closer to launching the Mini Boy!

You could probably get away with removing the threaded rod and using a small amount of adhesive.
Or creative use of a few small grub screws, for a more sophisticated approach.
Just a thought, dewey-1, could there be some way to use a capacitor with some sort of voltage regulator to mimic a small low capacity battery ?
Still button cells will probably be more compact anyway...

That would make life a lot easier
About the circuit, this is what I'm pondering - what if I assembled it "in the air", just connecting things together as opposed to to the board, then put the resulting "christmas tree lights just coming out of storage" circuit into a mould and poured it full of epoxy?
I realise that maintenance would then be impossible, but I guess testing it before pouring the epoxy would suffice...

This is what the valve
Bad-------Black
Boys------Brown
Rap#-----Red
Our-------Orange
Young----Yellow
Girls------Green
But-------Blue
Violet----Violet
Gives-----Grey
Willingly-White
It is surprisingly easy to memorize.. well I guess that was the point

			That is the main reason.
Actually, in the original version, the word Bad was Black.
Over the years that was was changed for apparent reasons.

Politically correct resistors, who would have thought.
What do you think about this:
what if I assembled it "in the air", just connecting things together as opposed to to the board, then put the resulting "christmas tree lights just coming out of storage" circuit into a mould and poured it full of epoxy?

I would naturally not pot the coil.

Parts layout is some what critical when dealing with RF circuits.
Not saying that it can't be done, just that it may be a lot of trial and error by anyone not familar with RF circuit design.

Is it really? I do know some high frequency circuits won't work on a breadboard... but this?
some what
It's
