Hey there...
I have had my own ideas... and I finally made one.
I got a basic pneumatic blow gun, just a normal, stock, workshop blow gun... shoved a sealed PVC pipe on the end, and smashed a cork onto the end of it...
Started the compressor, and gave it 110 psi, the cork flew about 20 metres...
Do you have any tips? The only thing I can think of is having a longer barrel, or a larger blow gun, as the hole where the air escapes is only about 2 1/2mm (1/4 inch)...
Oh... and normal spuds don't go well, as they are too slippery and not enough air can build up behind them...
So yeah, should I go on with the idea of a laregr blow gun? Or try make a real one (sprikler valves and all)...
I have thought of using a normal garden tap also, as the valve seeing their pretty think, but I have no idea how much psi those can withstand, and opening the valve would be slow...
Thanks
Nooby Pneumatic Gun...

You need to build some pressure before the ammo starts moveing. Then a fast release out through the barrel, but you should know this allready. You should mod the barrel to add a burst disk, a piece of alumium foil inbetween the blow gun and ammo.
