It does, hence my question. 15 degrees celsius is a little cold, but if it hasn't cured after 48 hours then you've probably not mixed it in the right ratio, or not mixed it well enough. Also the chemicals do tend to degrade with time, so if it's an old container that might be an issue.sagthegreat wrote:I thought epoxy cures faster in warm weather

Now I'm just waiting a month for my 65 round mag to get here from Hong Kong.

Ha. I used amazon too. The store gave no indication that it was shipping from Hong Kong, so the first $150 of my stuff got here two weeks ago, but I'll have to wait another 3-6 weeks till my mag gets here.
Does anyone have experience with hop ups and mags? I have a barrel with an AK style hop up, will an M4 style clip fit onto the AK style hop up? I bought an AK mag anyways, but the M4 mags will be easier to integrate because they aren't curved.

Nice. I should have gotten an M4 hop up, but the AK hopup+ barrel was a lot cheaper. *sigh*

How long is the barrel?
My hop up unit was 10 dollars, my mags were 12 dollars a piece, and my barrel was 45 bucks with shipping. *BIG SIGH*

Progress report:
Stock is coming along, a friend does woodworking and is making one of mahogany for me.
Internals however, are being so annoying! The valves are working fine, and my magazine/clip finally came, but It will shoot only one in three or so shots! I'm thinking it's because i bought an aeg hop up and clip system, and those have a little air nozzle that will essentially load the bb forwards into the rubber seal. Mine isn't doing that.
So, does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I already have a pin in place to keep the bb from rolling backwards, but the bb won't fire. And to anyone with airsoft gun experience, would an m14 hop up chamber work, or would I run into the same problem? Would any hop up chamber work?

The blast of air should push the BB forwards much more effectively than any nozzle. Are you sure the magazine and breech are interacting properly? Can you take some close-up photos of your setup?

When you mate the mag with the breech, does it feed a BB into it? f you poke out the BB with a stick, does it feed another BB after?
Are you loading enough BBs into the mag? Typically the last 4 or 5 BBs aren't fed because of the space between the breech and where the mag follower stops.

I fill the mag with about 20 bbs. It feeds into the breech, and then will feed another one. It just won't always shoot the bb that is fed.
Got some parts for a bolt action system, working on that now. Stationary barrel and outer barrel, with sliding middle collar

The barrel is stationary, with a home-made hop up/detent of heat-shrink tubing.
