I don't even wanna think about how much pressure that would take
But on a more serious note, up until now, I've been using an air compressor that only goes to 100 psi. I'm getting c02 reg and tanks in the mail on friday-ish, and the lowest pressure rated part is 150 psi for the qev.....this only means one thing...MOAH POWER!
For anyone who has done something like this, how much more power can the gap from 100 to 150 psi give?

for a bb, it should give you like 50 fps more...
also let me know how your air rig works out, im thinking about buying a reg like that

not much, I dont even shoot when pressure drops to 150 psi. If you got a fridge, take out it's compressor ..it goes up to 500 psi i think. Now you will get decent power. And if you use steel bb, you got yoursel a PCP.

oh... i'm getting 400-500 fps at 100 psi. If I get as much as a jump in performance from say 100 to 150 psi as I do from 70 to 100 psi, then i should be getting "decent power"
Air rig arrived, with a little bit of cleaning it works great! I re-arranged the internal washer assembly for a lower pressure range, now i can adjust from 50 to about 300 psi.
R-hop installed, I believe the term for what is occurring would be "over hop" (by about 6 feet at 150 feet)
R-hop un-installed, back to heat shrink tubing. Works like a charm at 150 feet with 120 psi.
Running a higher pressure, this thing is loud! Silencer helps a lot with that.
And finally, would a new topic for the finished thing with a final video be okay?

with higer power the bb fly different, you wont need a hop up. I goes straight and it also has enough force after 25 m to smash a beer bottle. Also much more important is the barrel.
